Blogging For Profits
Almost everything that starts off as fun on the Internet is inevitably turned into a money-making venture. And that’s not a bad thing. You might as well get your piece of the pie. Let’s talk blogging, for instance. You’ll be happy to know that there are five easy strategies that you can adopt to make money blogging.
The first method for making money blogging is known as Flagship Blogging. Using this method, you don’t expand beyond a few blogs. But you spand massive time and energy on these blogs daily. Each should be a popular niche area, and you should do all you can to make these blogs quite popular among people who are interested in that niche. Your ultimate goal is to create a flagship blog that is considered a must-visit site on the Internet, each with a large number of daily visitors.
Of course, the reason this method is not more popular is precisely because of the amount of effort required in it - in return for little to no immediate results. Building a truly profitable flagshop blog takes time.
Still, once the blog takes off, the monetary (and emotional) rewards are plenty. You will have created a true destination site on the Web, and it will have lots of options for bringing in money. One of the most significant monetization options is direct advertising sales.
The flagship blogging method is not for everyone. You should only attempt it if you know you have the niche knowledge, networking skills and marketing know-how to make it work.
A second popular method to make money online via blogging is the “pay per post” method. Using this method, you set up several niche blogs, either on free blog hosting sites such as Wordpress, or on your own domain. You maintain these blogs for a period of time, with your focus being on creating content and building up the sites’ Google PageRanks, Alexa Ranks, and link profiles.
You must spend the necessary time to submit each blog to pay-to-blog sites such as LoudLaunch, Review Me, PayPerpost, Blogitive, Sponsored Reviews, Blogsvertise, and others, for their advertisers to consider sponsoring your blog post about their product - which in reality are meant to sell products in the guise of a blog post.
Of course, the drawback is that there’s no passive income. It’s essential to spend time creating many sponsored blog posts, which you might find boring and/or time-consuming.
A third way of making money blogging is through automated blogging. This involves setting up some blogs that pull content automatically from search engines, RSS feeds and news sources, all of which serve as content for your site. The money then comes from context ads such as Google Adsense or similar programs. The advantage to this method is that, after you’ve set it up, you spend little time maintaining it. The disadvantage is that profits are likely to be quite low unless you set up a huge number of blogs (Commonly one such blog will provide you about $5 a month).
Blogging is fun. But it no longer needs to be only fun. You can also make some significant extra money, provided you use the right strategies. Try any or all of the above to see how your income can be enhanced.
