Full-time RV’ing and Affiliate Business Opportunities

October 17th, 2009

Boomers Love Life!

Baby Boomers have attained their 50’s and 60’s in huge numbers and have promised themselves that they would never age badly. As a generation we’re more involved with the larger world than any previous generation at the same age.

Many of us want to reduce our work-related stress but we still need a steady paycheck, and we want to stay active contributors in society (i.e., we’re not ready for the rocking chair just yet).

Starting and running an online business is a wonderful way for Boomers to keep active, make a lot of money, and simultaneously, enjoy freedom and mobility.

Many people in this generation love to travel, and specifically, they love RV’ing. Wouldn’t you like to know if there is a way to travel the country in an RV and still be able to earn a good living?

Happily, there is!

All you need is a computer with a wireless internet connection, an affiliate or other online business - and, of course, a recreational vehicle, or “RV” as they’re known. With this basic equipment, you can operate a million-dollar enterprise from anywhere that your heart and the highway takes you.

During the summer, you may go see friends or family in the northern US, or even Canada, but then when the weather turns bad and the snow flies, you might want to “blue-bird” it to the warmer southern climates..

Combine Work & Play!

Either way, you can conduct your affiliate business easily and comfortably from your RV - and you can work as much or as little as you choose!

This is a great way to work part-time, take an early retirement, or increase your retirement income, plus, you won’t have to worry so much about what is going to happen to Social Security, health care, etc. because you know your internet business will be producing a dependable second income for you, and doing so in a way that gives you the freedom and mobility you’ve earned.

I know this is possible, because I’ve been a full-time RVer and worked online more mobility and generally, greater freedom.

I’ve started my own internet marketing business. I’m a firm believer in “Stewardship Education” - meaning, what I learn, I share with others. I encourage you to take this opportunity to take control of your financial security.

One excellent starting point for gaining all the understanding about internet marketing that you will need to succeed is to sign up for the Online Success for Beginners course.

Have A Blog And Join In The Fun

September 3rd, 2009

It was a few years ago that I first decided to create a blog to learn how to how to make money from home using websites. Back then, I use the blog mainly to keep up with friends. After all, for this generation, you practically have to have a blog if you want to have any chance of keeping in touch with anyone. The fast pace of the way information moves has make letters and phone calls quickly becoming more inefficient. Even e-mails are starting to go that way – at least from the perspective of keeping up with you friends.

Creating a blog has many advantages over these other forms of traditional communication. One of the biggest ones is that if you have somethings to announce or discuss, everyone can access it at once. Once you create the blog, you need not have to worry about repeating yourself all the time to different people.Everyone can read it ath their own free time.

People create their online presence for different reasons.Right now, people go online is mainly for networking reason.  However, there are some there focus on very specific reason.  This could be due to the fact that these people wish to focus on niche topic and attract like mindedness people only.  Such blogs could be tie to topic such as current affairs, dancing, music etc, or even about David Beckham.

Even there is nothing to write about, you can still have a post on your blog just to keep the community warm. This can help keeping you informed of the happenings in the world. And the best way to do this is to become part of the game, a blogger yourself. You can communicate with other bloggers and exchange information this way.  You can also learn how to make money on blogging with internet marketing affiliate program

Create A Blog And Stay Connected

September 2nd, 2009

It was a few years ago that I first decided to create a blog to learn how to how to make money from home using websites. Back then, the main thing I did was to mostly use the blog as a way to keep up with friends. You basically need to have a blog if you want to have any chance of keeping in touch with anyone. People and events move on so fast that it has make letters and phone calls quickly becoming more and more forgotten. Even e-mails are starting to go that way - at least in keeping in touch with your friends.

Creating a blog has a lot of advantages over these other forms of traditional communication. One of the biggest ones is that if you have some news to announce, you can give it to everyone at once. Once you create the blog, you need not have to worry about repeating yourself all the time to different people.  Everyone can read it themselve at their own time.

People have online identity for various reasons.Right now, the most popular reason for any to go online is social networking.  However, there are some there focus on very specific reason.  This could be due to the fact that these people wish to focus on niche topic and attract like mindedness people only.  Such blogs could be tie to topic such as current affairs, dancing, music etc, or even about David Beckham.

Even you got nothing to write about, you may still want to have a blog just to be in touch with the people around you. This can help keeping you informed of the happenings in the world.  The best way to do this is to become a blogger yourself.  This way you can communicate with other bloggers and exchange information.  You can also learn how to make money on blogging with internet marketing affiliate program

Leverage Your Home-Based Business by Re-Using Content

August 10th, 2009

Wikipedia defines leverage as “A force compounded by means of a lever rotating around a pivot” and “By extension, any influence which is compounded or used to gain an advantage.”  The extension of that definition is the most relevant for online businesses.

Leverage is most often expressed in either fiscal or mechanistic terms, but it applies much wider than that as well, including the affiliate marketing industry.

So how can we interpret the term “any influence” for our internet businesses?

One of the best ways for an internet business to maximize our profits is by re-using available content.  Most of the ebooks currently advertised on the internet reflect content that has been re-used, although some may have been originally written as ebooks, most originated as a single blog post, or a response to a customer email, perhaps even a collection of Frequently Asked Questions.

Within Finance, the advantage gained from leverage is frequently written as a ratio of some sort, for example, a debt-to-equity ratio.  Such ratios are useful for bookkeepers, but accountants are not the primary audience here.

What advantage can we realize by leveraging our existing content?  Consider the following simplistic example (no rocket science here):   Assume that it takes you 10 hours to write a document for use with a single customer and then sell it to that customer for $50.00.  You would have earned $50.00, but it took 10 hours of your time to earn that $50.00; in other words, you have earned about $5 per hour (less than the current minimum wage) for your work and made zero profit.

If, however, you take that same document (tailored to remove any proprietary info) and offer it as an ebook via the Web for $19.95, and that you ultimately sell 100 copies of your published ebook.  You would have earned $1995, and if you subtract the $50 it cost you to create the previous document with a reduction of another $5 to customize it for any customer/proprietary info, leaving you now with a profit of $1940.00.

That’s the power of leverage, specifically the improvement gained from re-using existing content.

Once we become familiar with leverage, we discover that there are many different ways to apply it to our home businesses.  This article addressed only re-use of content, but there are many other ways.  Separate articles describe additional ways that online businesses can improve ROI by using leverage.

Successful Internet Marketers Use Leverage

August 10th, 2009

Leverage is the ability to gain a big gain from a small investment - whether that investment is time, effort or money.

We usually think of leverage as the mechanical improvement that results from using a lever.  In fact, Archimedes once stated, “Give me a lever long enough and a fulcrum on which to place it, and I shall move the world.”

But leverage isn’t restricted to the physical world of mechanical advantage - it applies in many other conditions as well.

In business, Change Agents often speak of changing one or more business “levers” in order to bring about organizational change or transformation.  Unfortunately, in today’s world, those business levers often result in job cuts, down-sizing, bankruptcies, or other forms of corporate re-organization.

But leverage has many positive implications as well.

People apply financial leverage when they use borrowed funds to increase their ROIs, or when they use calls or puts to control large quantities of stock much cheaper than if they had purchased the stock outright.

home based businesses employ leverage when they function online.  Simply by doing that, they’ve removed the boundaries of geography (and largely, time as well) and leveraged their advertising dollars, since it costs the about the same amount to create an ad that reaches only a small number of people as it does to create an ad that is global.

If we were operating a small “brick and mortar” store, we might be satisfied with a couple hundred visitors, but as an online business, we want traffic numbering in the hundreds of thousands, or even millions - and not just any traffic, but targeted traffic.

We are utilizing leverage when we use tools such as Google AdWords:  we use the Google technologies to identify targeted traffic for us and send it to our website.

The Web provides us with many forms of leverage, but they basically all boil down to the use of technology.   Technology is one of the greatest levers ever invented.

Most internet marketers are familiar with the use of autoresponders and search engines, etc., but they habitually fail to make full use of the technology lever in their back office processes - including everything from managing sales leads to fulfilling the order and taking care of the follow-on billing and customer service issues.

Those online businesses that take fully leverage technology are the ones who will succeed in this competitive environment.

Good Research Is The First Step In Starting An Internet Business

August 7th, 2009

There are many reasons why people fail at Internet marketing and Internet business in general. For the most part everyone starts out with a broad goal and idea and starts doing research to see what it is that they have to do or learn to make it happen. The problems begin as soon as they do their first search on Google for “Internet business opportunities” or “Internet marketing”. They are immediately assaulted by thousands of results that for the most part are useless. There are so many scams and get rich quick schemes that are so well introduced that it’s no wonder that people get sucked in. The sales copy for these websites is excellent. They use some very talented copy writers to get this accomplished and spare no expense at making their "Business model” look like the right one that the uninitiated almost don’t stand a chance and fall prey to these great looking opportunities.

Not all is lost and not everything is a scam

Fortunately there are plenty of legitimate opportunities and courses that will get you going in the right direction. Before diving in to a business I would recommend that you look around and find the legitimate course programs and think about taking one. But also you have to think about and decide how you want to make money.

One very popular model of business is niche blogging or niche marketing. While they are similar they are not the same. In niche blogging you create a blog, preferably a self hosted Wordpress blog, and you “blog” about a particular subject or “niche”. You might choose dieting or dog grooming or even sports card collecting. You then begin to write articles about your subject of choice and begin the process of driving traffic to your blog. Depending on your writing skills and how much time you put into it but it can take 6 months to a year for your blog to become popular. You make money a couple of different ways. You can sell an eBook on the subject that either you wrote or bought PLR rights to. PLR or private label rights allow you to publish the eBook under your own name. You can also use Google Adsense to have Google post ads on your blog and get paid when people click on those ads. Of course in either case you have to have a good amount of traffic coming in.

Niche marketing is a bit different in that you publish a site sometimes referred to as a mini-site, due to the fact that you just publish one page as the sales page and write a compelling sales copy (Page) to sell your product. A lot of people that do that use pay per click advertising to drive traffic and use services like PayDotCom.com to find others to sell their product and pay them a commission. One good example of this is MyResellSoftware a site that sells software to people who would like to start a business selling software.

Selling Software As A Business

The nice thing about MyResellSoftware is that they give you everything you need to get up and running in no time. You can literally have a site published with about 1 to 2 hours of work (depending on your skill level) and all you really have to do is insert your information like PayPal account and email address and your name. But the rest of the site is 100% finished and ready. You would be hard pressed to find a better looking website that is ready to publish. The software looks great and the graphics are excellent. The sales pages for the individual articles are written by a professional copy writer so once you get traffic the sales should start coming in.

There are other sites that I have seen that sell a “business in a box” concept but few do it as well and as complete as MyResellSoftware. While some of the others I’ve seen I have liked they sell PLR eBooks which are a dime a dozen and therefore much harder to market well and make a good profit. Of course if you can write your own eBook, a quality eBook at that, then you can also make some good money by selling the eBook either for the niche it was written or as a PLR title.

In my next article I will discuss other forms of Internet business including PPC Marketing which can bring you tremendous riches but which can also leave you broke and destitute if your not careful. I’ll also discuss some courses that I am currently reviewing. I got my hands on a few popular ones and let you know how they stack up. In the meantime do your research carefully and don’t go with the first offer that comes along.

How to Make Money Online without Selling

June 13th, 2009

You have may have read many headlines similar to this one above, or make promises like this one. You probably have spent quite a bit of time reading blog posts with title like this one. BUT, the article might not have measured up to the headline… that won’t make money; I can’t promote that, do that, write about that, endorse that… or whatever that! IT WILL RUIN MY BRAND!

Well, that isn’t necessarily so. I’m going to give you some tips that will give you an opportunity to monetize your website or blog, while preserving your brand. One of the best and easiest ways to monetize your online properties is to join some affiliate programs and advertise them on your site.

Affiliate programs are the answer

Why affiliate programs? Simple. When you are an affiliate of a affiliate marketing program, you can start selling products without having to wait on product development. All the work of writing an eBook, or recording an audio track, or programming a software product is taken care of by someone else. But the advantages don’t end there. Also, you don’t have to create marketing materials - those are created for you by the affiliate program owner.

Another big benefit is that you really don’t have to manually keep track of money or finances. Most outstanding affiliate programs will provide the members with a login to a sophisticated affiliate management tool that is based on one of the leading affiliate software programs. The software will give you all kinds of measurements on how your ads are performing.

Five tips for choosing affiliate offers to promote

  1. Look good earnings potential - You want to make sure that if one of the people you refer to an affiliate offer buys, that you will make some decent money. Some experts recommend that you look for high percentage payouts. I would prefer to find affiliate program that sell high ticket items and pay large commissions. This affiliate program for promoting 30/60/90 day sales plan templates gives you the opportunity to earn almost $50 per sale.
  2. Choose programs your readers will like - It is critical that you choose affiliate programs and offers that your audience will appreciate and be interested in. It wouldn’t be too smart to choose to promote affiliate programs and products for adult content movies on a site that is dedicated to toys for toddlers. However, if you have a website that helps people find careers is sales, it would be great to promote something like How to Get Into Medical Sales.

  3. Look for affiliate programs powered by software - When you sign up for an affiliate program it will quickly become obvious if the owner of the program is serious about helping affiliate members be successful. After signing up, if you are automatically redirected to a page powered by a fully-featured affiliate marketing software program, they are probably serious about their affiliate program. If they don’t have a managed affiliate program, it should give you pause. Their are several top name brands like iDev Affiliate, LinkShare, and JROX JAM. My favorite is JROX JAM, which you can get for free here: http://websitesthatdrivesales.com/recommends/free-affiliate-management-software.htm

  4. Make sure the website is NOT anonymous - What I mean is, make sure that there are real people standing behind the website, people with good reputations, who take customer service seriously. Website owners who let you know who they are, give you contact information with phone numbers aren’t very likely to be fly-by-night. They aren’t likely to ‘forget’ to pay you the commissions that you have generated. If you can find a bio, picture, and phone number of the affiliate site owner, chances are they will behave legitimately. You will also be able to search the Internet to find any complaints about them or their program. Peggy McKee, the Medical Sales Recruiter, is one of the country’s leading sales recruiters - she proudly announces her site ownership on the about pages like this one: http://30-60-90-day-sales-plan.com/about/

  5. Choose affiliate programs that have support programs - If you are choosing a piece of software to buy, you probably wouldn’t purchase it if there was not support mechanism in place. You should use the similar criteria when evaluating affiliate websites. Affiliate website program owners that don’t put support systems in place - something like a ticket system or help desk software - probably won’t care about any their products or customers, and eventually they won’t are about you. If they do, then you can be rest assured that they are trying to delight their customers. If they AREN’T keeping customers happy, their poor service will reflect poorly on you, and tarnish your brand.

There are a couple of affiliate programs that hit on all cylinders, that I could recommend if your site’s visitors would be interested in these subjects. One is an affiliate program for a sales interview tool that targets sales professionals - you can check it out here: http://30-60-90-day-sales-plan.com/affiliate-program-details/. The other is a program that has a broader appeal - it targets people who own businesses that either have no web presence or under performing websites; you can get all the information for it here: http://websitesthatdrivesales.com/blog/home/affiliate-program/

How To Make Money Fast With Internet Marketing

May 21st, 2009

Make Money Here

Want to know how to make money quick with internet marketing? Join an internet marketing giveaway.

One way to make money from internet marketing giveaways is to join as a member for free and download all of the free gifts. Just one giveaway will usually give you just about everything you need to start making money on the web. You can probably download ebooks and software with resell rights, plus the sales website to sell them from, and plenty of hints and tips on bringing visitors to your sales page.

But that is not the best way to make money from an internet giveaway. You will do even more if you have a product to offer yourself, and use it to build your list.

Rosie Cottis has been making money from internet giveaways for several years. Here are her top tips for how to make money from them.

1. Upload a genuinely valuable gift - something that people will actually want.

2. Be sure that your gift is uploaded and test your opt in before the doors open. Most visitors will come in the first few hours.

3. Have a paid product that people will see right away when they sign up for your gift. You could put this offer on the same page as the download link for the free gift. I find that a relatively low priced upsell works best ($5 to $15).

4. Send your subscribers the download page link by email, even if your autoresponder already sent them there. That way they have another chance to buy your upsell.

5. Line up more emails in your autoresponder, giving them either additional information or more bonuses.

6. Then you can begin to promote your more expensive products (or affiliate products). Of course, the free gift should bring you subscribers who will buy your later offers, so your free gift should be related in some way.

7. Keep promoting the internet giveaway. If you do not have a list of your own, use free advertising methods e.g. safelists. Do some promotion every day. This will increase your points so your gift is displayed higher on the list.

8. If you are offered an upgrade for contributors where you can get your gift a higher ranking, I recommend you take it. It pays.

Last but not least, keep logging in to see what is happening. Is your gift getting as many subscribers as the others on the same page? Is your second offer converting? Are your subscribers unsubscribing right away, and if so, why? There are man things you can alter to improve your sales.

Click here to see the best giveaway that I recommend you join: top internet marketing giveaway

Note: the link will take you to my blog if the giveaway is not live right now.

So considering all these tips you can see how to make money quickly from giveaways on the internet.

Profit From Simple Net Marketing Advice

April 25th, 2009

People everywhere are working as hard as they can to make money. The biggest problem is that people don’t know where to find work at home jobs. The sad this is, it’s really easy but people just aren’t willing to put in the time and effort necessary to reach their potential. You can make money; you just have to really want it enough to work for it. If you aren’t afraid of a little bit of hard work there are a ton of easy ways to make lots of cash.

When I was young I was always trying to think of both ways to earn cash in the real world and come up with online home business ideas. Every year around Halloween time I would set up shop and sell pumpkins. I certainly never got rich, but I made enough money to make a small boy happy. I also sold lemonade even though my road is in the country so there is like 1 car an hour and no one ever walks by.  When I really think of why I bother telling you that I guess the point is that work doesn’t come easily. It’s something you have to constantly be working at. If you are willing to do all the tuff you need to do then it isn’t that hard to be successful. With it being so easy (as long as you don’t mind doing some reading) I don’t know why more people don’t do it.

I guess if people want some advice I could give them some free home business tips. I don’t need to be protectionist because there is plenty of cash to spread around. So I guess the basic things that I would tell people is to read everything you can. So much info is available on the net these days that all that needs to be done is to learn. People need to remember though that when they do read to not just accecpt it all as true. That’s important because there are a lot of people who want to sell you their own junk and make a buck. What you need to do is look for something that you think will work for you. You should be trying to find people that both sound like they know what they are doing, and have applied it to real work money making.

You can be sure of one thing, there is money to be mae on the internet. Just go looking because it is there. Put in the work necessary and you can really supplement your income easily, or even make an income totally from home. I know it has been a big plus for me. If I can do it so can anyone out there. I really am so glad that everything worked out for the very best resolution possible.
