Stress Control - 10 Effective Tips to Diminish Stress Resulting From Your Internet Business

October 19th, 2009

A lot of us elect to work at home to reduce the many difficulties associated with the typical nine-to-five job - things like an irrational supervisor, too much to do and/or foolhardy target dates.

But, we may soon discover that home working generates its own problems.  So, how do we deal with these brand-new difficulties?

1.  Create A Efficient Workspace

Make sure you have a private workspace, along with all the necessary gear like phone, PC, printer, fax, and so on. You’ll need a comfortable chair and a solid desk.  You can make your office area more welcoming by seeing to it that you have lots of space, lots of light - and, if you’re a feng shui afficienado, have somebody come in and feng shui your office!

2.  Drop Unnecessary Tasks

Go thru your “To-Do” List and eliminate anything that really doesn’t belong on the list, or anything that doesn’t definitely need to be done.  Be determined in your decisions - delete as much busywork activity as possible.  Doing so will not only save you the time you would spend attempting to complete those tasks - it’ll also save you the stress and mental problems related to worrying about those pointless jobs.

3.  Acquire Necessary Tools and Equipment

The proper tools make any effort much simpler.  Invest the money to get the basic equipment that you need to do your work.  And, if your situation permits, spend some additional money to get the equipment that ( while not totally necessary ) will simplify your occupation and make your life generally much less stressful.

Invest in a stable, automated marketing management system and let technology take care of lead management and order fulfillment chores for your business.

4. Engage a Personal Assistant ( s )

Determine tasks that are established, repetitive and not among your core processes.  Think about outsourcing them to a personal admin (which is much more affordable than you could think).  Candidates for outsourcing are bum marketing, web design, SEO, backlinking, lead follow-ups, etc.

5.  Create a Support Group

Working from home can become a particularly lonely activity.  Establish a powerful support network - this may be a bunch of comrades with whom you connect via the Net (e.g, forums, chat rooms ) or a local group in your community or church.  The important thing is to keep in regular contact with folks who are important to you - and who can appreciate what you are going thru as an entrepreneur.

A very good place to start for collecting all the education about internet marketing that you will need to be successful is to enroll in the Online Success for Beginners program.

6.  Manage Your Feelings

Don’t look for miracles or overnite success.  Establish a formal, or informal, association with a coach or friend who can help you set realistic plans and expectations - and help you stay inspired when things don’t go quite the way you need them to go. An online, or work-at-home business, is simply that - a business.  As such it requires a n ongoing supply of purchasers and products and vendors, etc.  Every one of those presents another opportunity for an issue to occur, skyrocketing your daily stress levels - just like the common 9-5 work.

7. “Chunk-It”

Your great and ambitious objectives may sound impressive, but taken as a whole, they can be extremely overwhelming and frightening ( e.g., “I need to be a millionaire” or “I wish to retire in 5 years”).  The best thing to do with such optimistic goals is to “chunk them,” i.e, break them into far smaller, more controllable bites and then make a plan to attain each of those smaller goals.

8.  Eat Healthy

Eat a healthy, healthy diet loaded in fruits and vegetables.  Cut down on caffeine ( coffee, black and green tea, cola drinks, and chocolate ).

9.  Workout

Exercise relieves stress, pushes oxygen to the brain, and offers a respite from stressful eventualities.

10.  Rest & Recreate

Try to take time in your schedule to breathe and do something that you enjoy, even if it is just for a short time.

One of the best blessings of a home{-based work-at-home} business is that you are now your own head honcho - but that is also one of the largest causes of stress in your life.  You are now the one individual who has to decide what jobs have to be done, when and by whom.

As a further step in reducing your overall stress levels, get the FREE MaxPro Report and Audio which will describe the age-old secrets of creating wealth and show you additional ways you can cut back the tension associated with running your web concern.

Millionaires are Made, Not Born - On the Internet!

October 19th, 2009

Have you ever wanted to become a millionaire, but considered that was nothing but wishful thinking?  Don’t give up your dreams - becoming rich is possible.

Did you know that some experts forecast there will be about 1,000,000 new millionaires created during the next ten years, and about 90% of them will make their fortunes using the internet.

In June 2009, NicheMarketAdvisor.com reported that the number of millionaires in the US has doubled in a single year, and most of them made their riches via the Web.

Some, of course are the “brainiac” types like Steve Jobs and Bill Gates, but lots of these wealthy tycoons are common people - just like you and me.  What marks them from the common person, however, is that they are totally dedicated to their goals.  Millionaires guard a positive attitude that actually attracts wealth to their doorstep.  They understand that their thoughts determine their future reality.

As for me, I’m intending to join their ranks; how about you?

There’s childhood rhyme that goes something like this:  “Yard by yard like is hard, but inch by inch life’s a cinch!”

It’s really difficult to become a millionaire on your own, but it’s much easier if you become a member of a strong mentoring and support group.  One excellent place to start for gleaning all the education about internet marketing that you will need to be successful is to enroll in the Online Success for Beginners classes.

Internet millionaires have a number of common traits and characteristics, but most notable among them is a liking for being proactive.

Famous scientist, Louis Pasteur once said, “Chance favors the prepared mind” and similarly with entrepreneurs - those who are prepared seem to discover more opportunities than others.

Millionaires in the making know how to recognize lucrative situations, and when they see one, they act - quickly and decisively.  Because they’ve done their research, they are ready and willing to grab opportunities as they arise.

How about you - are you ready?.

This is your invitation to discover what it really takes to become a millionaire - and to discover that becoming a millionaire is well within the realm of possibility for you.  You don’t have to be a brain surgeon, or one of the Hollywood stars you see on TV or the movie screen.  You just need the yearning, motivation, and the enthusiasm to work hard and follow the guidance of experts.

If you would like to learn how to leverage your efforts, put your income on autopilot, and become a millionaire, get the FREE MaxPro Report and CD here.

Full-time RV’ing and Affiliate Business Opportunities

October 17th, 2009

Boomers Love Life!

Baby Boomers have attained their 50’s and 60’s in huge numbers and have promised themselves that they would never age badly. As a generation we’re more involved with the larger world than any previous generation at the same age.

Many of us want to reduce our work-related stress but we still need a steady paycheck, and we want to stay active contributors in society (i.e., we’re not ready for the rocking chair just yet).

Starting and running an online business is a wonderful way for Boomers to keep active, make a lot of money, and simultaneously, enjoy freedom and mobility.

Many people in this generation love to travel, and specifically, they love RV’ing. Wouldn’t you like to know if there is a way to travel the country in an RV and still be able to earn a good living?

Happily, there is!

All you need is a computer with a wireless internet connection, an affiliate or other online business - and, of course, a recreational vehicle, or “RV” as they’re known. With this basic equipment, you can operate a million-dollar enterprise from anywhere that your heart and the highway takes you.

During the summer, you may go see friends or family in the northern US, or even Canada, but then when the weather turns bad and the snow flies, you might want to “blue-bird” it to the warmer southern climates..

Combine Work & Play!

Either way, you can conduct your affiliate business easily and comfortably from your RV - and you can work as much or as little as you choose!

This is a great way to work part-time, take an early retirement, or increase your retirement income, plus, you won’t have to worry so much about what is going to happen to Social Security, health care, etc. because you know your internet business will be producing a dependable second income for you, and doing so in a way that gives you the freedom and mobility you’ve earned.

I know this is possible, because I’ve been a full-time RVer and worked online more mobility and generally, greater freedom.

I’ve started my own internet marketing business. I’m a firm believer in “Stewardship Education” - meaning, what I learn, I share with others. I encourage you to take this opportunity to take control of your financial security.

One excellent starting point for gaining all the understanding about internet marketing that you will need to succeed is to sign up for the Online Success for Beginners course.

Recession or Not - Now Is the Time to Start A Home Business

October 17th, 2009

Many people who are interested in starting a home-based business assume that because the country is in a major recession right now, this is not the time; however, I ask you to consider the facts:

1. For most of the important decisions in life, e.g., getting married, having a child, starting a business - there is never a “right” time; there is only today.

2. To become wealthy, you really need to own your own business (93% of the already wealthy do).

3. In 2006, Fortune magazine called direct selling, including network marketing, “the best kept secret in the business world” with a 91% growth over the previous 10 years. It has a market of $30 billion in the United States and $100 billion worldwide. By 2012, that figure is expected to reach 6 billion.

4. Network marketing has been called a “recession proof industry”.

5. Warren Buffet called his purchase of a network marketing company the best investment he’d ever made.

6. Tom Peters, author of In Search of Excellence, called it the first truly revolutionary marketing shift in the past 50 years.

7. Internet marketing businesses aren’t as impacted by the usual commuter costs (gas and parking) and childcare expenses.

8. There are significant tax advantages to owning a home business.

9. They’re generally easy to start - if you have a basic language skills and can point, click and follow directions, you have what you need to become successful in the world of online businesses.

10. The Internet gives you more control of your financial future than a 9-5 job. You’re the boss, and the upside is incredible! You really can make a lot of money.

Affiliate marketing programs are doubtless the easiest ways to start an online organization, and a lot of them also provide training regarding the product that you will be marketing for them.

The problem with the majority of online programs is that their coaching is narrow, and typically targeted only on teaching you on their product (s). Unfortunately, you will require more data and skills than that.

A superb starting point for picking up all the rest of the knowledge about internet marketing that you’ll need is to enroll in the Online Success for Beginners course.

Thousands and thousands of new businesses will start in the next year, despite the recession. Don’t you want to be among them? Isn’t it time to leave the pressures of the 9-5 job behind you?

Carpe Diem! Seize the day! Now is the right time to start your own business .

Work Just 4 Hours a Week & Enjoy It More

October 13th, 2009

Serial Entrepreneur & Ultravagabond

Timothy Ferriss, author of the 4 Hour Work Week, is a self-described “serial entrepreneur and ultravagabond” who lives a lifestyle that most of us could only dream about — until now.

Ferriss presents a step-by-step guide to his free-wheeling lifestyle, allowing us to follow in his footsteps and realize lifelong dreams. Some people consider Ferriss to be an “Indiana Jones for the digital age”.

This interesting book has been number one on three different best seller lists: Wall Street Journal, NY Times and BusinessWeek.

Replace Obsolete Assumptions

His basic premise is that we need to replace many, if not most, of our current assumptions and apply what he calls the “Rules of the New Rich”.

We home business owners need to replace these assumptions because they limit us and prevent us from enjoying life. We’d like to be able to manage our businesses, and our lives, from anywhere, anytime.

According to Ferriss, The New Rich (NR) are those who abandon the deferred-life plan and create luxury lifestyles in the present using the currency of the New Rich: time and mobility.

Rules of the New Rich

According to Ferris, the “Rules of the New Rich” include the following:

  • Retirement is Worst-Case Scenario Insurance
  • Interest and Energy are Cyclical
  • Less is Not Laziness
  • The Timing Is Never Right
  • Ask for Forgiveness, Not Permission
  • Emphasize Strengths, Don’t Fix Weaknesses
  • Things in Excess Become the Opposite
  • Money Alone is Not the Solution
  • Relative Income is More Important than Absolute Income
  • Distress is Bad, Eustress is Good

The 4HWW Model

His model provides us with a roadmap for realizing our own lifelong dreams. He shows us how to:

  • Live like a millionaire
  • Free time and automate income
  • Outsource our lives to overseas virtual assistants for $5/hour
  • Travel the world without quitting our jobs
  • Eliminate 50% of our work in 48 hours
  • Trade a long-haul career for short work bursts and mini-retirements

He uses the DEAL acronym to describe his model, where:

  • D = Definition
  • E = Elimination
  • A = Automation
  • L = Liberation

He encourages us to use “Dreamlining” to design our own luxurious lifestyles. Elimination, simplification, and outsourcing to virtual assistants are the building blocks to a luxurious lifestyle among the New Rich (NR).

This is an art and a science we will refer to as Lifestyle Design (LD). Automation is another key component of the Lifestyle Design (LD) process, i.e., building a system to replace ourselves as bottlenecks. But never automate anything that can be eliminated, and never delegate anything that can be automated or simplified.

Carpe Diem!

Use this book as a roadmap taking you on a journey to opportunities that others will never see. Along the way, you’ll come to realize that having choices; i.e., the ability to choose is powerful.

Personally, I love the idea of creating a 4-Hour Workweek for myself.

Ferriss has shown us that it is possible to realize our dreams - faster and cheaper than we ever thought we could.  I plan to implement many of his ideas into my own life.

One great place to start for securing all the  understanding about internet marketing that you will need to be successful is to join the Online Success for Beginners course.

Achieve Your Dreams

October 12th, 2009

Challenge Your Anxieties

We all have dreams and most of us have dreams about living the good life, having plenty of time to spend with our families or being able to retire in comfort.

Past disappointments tend to limit our willingness to take the risks necessary to become successful.  Many of us are afraid to fail, so we limit ourselves when it comes to pursuing our dreams of success.

Change is everywhere, and nowhere more prevalent than in the internet marketing industry.  So how do we find the wisdom and the courage to take the next step on our journey to achieving our goals?

Attitude Is Critical

Sir Winston Churchill once said, “Success is measured by your ability to maintain enthusiasm between failures.”

Every day my inbox is filled with advertisements for newer and better ways to perform internet marketing.  But knowing which ones actually work and which ones will work for me?  Just like when buying a car, sometimes you just have to give it a test drive.

Success Personality

One Gallup organization in-depth study of the “success personality” explored the attitudes and traits of 1500 randomly selected individuals from Who’s Who in America. The three most significant traits they found were:

1) Common Sense - the ability to simplify a complex subject by getting to the core of what matters

2) Knowing One’s Field - first-hand knowledge as well as support from experienced coaches, and

3) Self-Reliance

Noted author, Brian Tracy, has stated, “All successful men and women are big dreamers. Winners visualize and then realize their perfect futures.”

Success Formula

If you want to achieve your dreams, apply the following success formula:

1) Determine your desired outcome(s)

2) Be proactive - meaning, do something!

3) Notice and feedback results

4) If the results are not what you want, change your strategy

For home business owners, the ability to maintain enthusiasm between failures (or more likely, between massive sales) will, indeed, separate the successful ones from the unsuccessful ones.

And one of the best ways to maintain your enthusiasm is to associate yourself with successful people - teachers, mentors and other gurus who’ve “been there and done that” and are already successful.

A very good place to start for gleaning all the understanding about internet marketing that you’ll need is to join the Online Success for Beginners classes.
